The 2023 Mazda CX-50 is available in ten trims: S, S Select Package, S Preferred Package, S Preferred Plus Package, S Premium Package, S Premium Plus Package, Turbo, Turbo Meridian Edition, Turbo Premium Package, and Turbo Premium Plus Package. Mazda keeps things pretty simple with two powertrain options for the CX-50. Power comes from a 2.5L 4-cylinder engine making 187 horsepower and 186 pound-feet of torque. The second engine is a turbocharged version of the 2.5L that produces 256 horsepower. Both engines are mated to an efficient Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT). The CX-50 comes standard with all-wheel drive.
The base model CX-50 is more basic than other versions but is still equipped with plenty of nice features. Air conditioning, cruise control, power door locks and power windows are all generally expected, and all are present.
